Crestview Students Take a Stand Against Bullying

Fourth grade students at Crestview Elementary stood up against bullying in an emotional program called Kids Against Violence led by music teacher Mrs. Leslie Martin as part of Red Ribbon Week.

An audience of parents watched as students performed songs including Count on Me and Put a Little Love in Your Heart with lyrics that promote the positive message of being a good friend. Students also took turns at the microphone reciting the phrases like “the best way to have friends is to be a friend.” The entire program focused on standing up and speaking up when you see a person in need or someone being bullied.

Below is a video that was shown during the Kids Against Violence program that showcases the acting and production skills of the fourth grade students of Crestview in collaboration with their teachers and staff.
