She was probably the most competitive athlete I’ve coached. Her success is a testament to her work ethic. She was always working hard to get better.” He adds , It’s hard to lose an athlete like Sarah but we know she is going to do great things and it’s great that she stayed right here at our back door so we can continue to support her”
FHS Track Coach Stefani Shortes shares this about Sarah, “Sarah was one of the most dedicated and disciplined athletes that we have had come through the track program. Her work ethic towards her goal always showed that she was going to do big things.”
The Wolfforth Chamber is excited to honor Sarah as our 2019 Parade Grand Marshal. Through hard work, determination and her competitive spirit, Sarah achieved great success as a Frenship Tiger. There is no one who is a better representative of this year’s theme “Soaring to New Heights.” Congratulations Sarah and we wish you continued success in your track and field career at Texas Tech!
