The Frenship Tiger Softball team traveled to Fort Stockton as undefeated District Champions looking to continue their winning streak against El Paso Socorro. The Tigers continued their impressive pitching and heavy hitting that easily put game one in the win column with a score of 21-2.
Alyssa Rundell was in the zone Friday night and homered in the first, doubled in the third, homered in the fourth, and singled in the fifth. The tigers hit hard in the third inning and scored ten runs in the period.
Torrey Hogan allowed four hits and two runs over five innings, striking out ten. The Tigers defense was another factor in the big win with not one error being made in the field.
Moving on to game two, the Tiger softball team shut down the possibility of a third match and swept the playoffs with a 13-3 win coming home as Bi-District Champions.
