Frenship Basketball Teams Take on Odessa Bronchos

The Tiger boys fell short in the Permian Basin while the girls picked up a win.

Two back-to-back games had different results as the Tiger basketball teams headed south to take on Odessa High.

The Tiger boys kept the competition close in the first quarter, but ultimately admitted defeat against the high-scoring Broncho offense. The loss brings the Tigers’ overall record to 13-17 with a district record of 1-5.

The FHS girls gave an impressive defensive exhibition, holding the lady Bronchos to a single basket in the second quarter. The offense also showed their skills in Odessa, giving the Tigers a final score of 57-25. The win brings the Tiger girls to on overall record of 24-7 with a district record of 6-1.
