The Frenship boys’ basketball team enjoyed the holidays by winning two of three games at the Lubbock Cooper Classic last week in Woodrow. Frenship opened with an 84-32 win versus Big Spring where twelve different Tigers contributed in scoring. FHS then beat Canyon High in overtime 73-63 before falling to El Paso El Dorado.
The Tigers then beat state-ranked Midland Greenwood 61-40, the second win this season versus the Lady Rangers, and followed that win with 62-51 victory against Trinity Christian.
The Tigers are now 12-7 on the season and play at Monterey this Friday before opening District 2-6A action on January 13 at Odessa Permian.
