Tiger Boys Hoops Prep for Playoffs; Girls Season Comes to an End

It is playoff time on the basketball court in the state of Texas in boys basketball, and the Frenship Tigers begin their journey through the 128-team Class 6A field Tuesday night.

FHS travels to Fort Stockton High School where they tip off against El Paso El Dorado at 7:30 p.m.

The Tigers (20-10) are the third-place seed out of District 2-6A while the Aztecs are the second-place team from 1-6A.

KELLER 49, FRENSHIP 35

The Tigers amazing 2017 season came to an end Friday night in the Class 6A area playoffs with a 49-35 loss to state-ranked Keller.

FHS could not recover from a 5-point second quarter that led to a 13-point halftime deficit. Margaret Gaydon led the Tigers in scoring with 12 points.

Frenship’s finishes the season at 26-9 and can proudly claim the District 2-6A championship in 2017.
