On Thursday, April 16 third graders at Willow Bend Elementary had the opportunity to show their creativity by tie dying t-shirts. This was a reward the teachers gave the students for all of their hard work preparing for the STAAR Test next week. Teachers and students dyed the shirts together as a stress relief and a way to celebrate all the time spend preparing for STAAR!
On Friday, April 17 the fun only continued at Willow Bend as the school hosted a pep rally for STAAR. The first part of the festivities consisted of a teacher created video encouraging the students for the upcoming test; followed by the second part which included all Pre K- 2nd grade students lining the hallways of WB to cheer and root on their fellow students. Kinder students brought instruments to really make some noise and create a fun atmosphere. Great job Willow Bend!
