Before the big Thanksgiving break Westwind hosted a “Thankful We Can Read” day. All faculty and students were encouraged to attend school dressed in comfy pajamas for a relaxing day of reading and activities.
A schedule was created for teachers to rotate around the building and read to other classes in different grade levels. Teachers were able to experience what it was like in a different grade level and students were exposed to other teachers in the building that they may not typically learn from. It was a great way to break up the day-to-day tasks and a fun way to kick off Thanksgiving!
Thank you Westwind staff for creating this fun experience!
