Here is a quick recap of deadlines coming up over the next several weeks for our Annual Harvest Festival and Parade on October 19th! Don’t miss out on any of the fun!
No entry required – Theme “Soaring to New Heights”
Lineup will be from 7:30am to 8:30am in the west parking lot of Tiger Stadium. All floats MUST enter from the Donald Preston Drive (82nd Street) entrance. If your vehicle is not in the parade or pulling a float, please park in the Frenship High School parking lot and walk across at the crosswalk. Parade begins promptly at 9am and will travel south down FM 179 to Main Street then west to Frenship Middle School. Please let your parade participants know to pick up their kids at the end of the parade at FMS.
Deadline for any Frenship Senior girls wanting to participate in the Harvest Queen Scholarship contest is Friday, October 4 at 4pm. Application packets must be turned in at the Counselor’s Suite at FHS. The Crowning of our Queen will be at 10:30am at the Festival stage just west of City Hall at 302 Main Street. All elementary age kids from Kindergarten to 5th grade are welcome to enter the Color Dash. Deadline to enter is Wednesday, October 2 to be guaranteed a shirt. Entry fee is $10 and may be turned in to your child’s Frenship PE Teacher or to Wolfforth City Hall at 302 Main Street. No refund will be given for any reason. Entries turned in after October 2nd are $20 and not guaranteed a shirt. These entries must be turned in to Wolfforth City Hall. The Color Dash will take place at 11am on Main Street in Wolfforth. Line-up will be in the south parking lot of City Hall. The entry form can be found by clicking here.
We are still looking for all types of vendors to join us this year. Vendors will set up the morning of October 19th between 6:45am and 8:30am. The vendor area will be open from 9am to 2pm.
