U.S. News Recognizes Frenship High School with 2015 Bronze Award

Frenship High School received a Bronze Award for academic excellence in the 2015 Best High School Rankings released by U.S. News Tuesday. Frenship High joins an elite group as one of the top rated schools of the more than 21,150 public high schools nationwide.

According to their news release, U.S. News calculates rankings based on school-specific data including enrollment, student ethnicity, location, school type and results of state assessments, as well as Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate tests. Using some of these data and a comprehensive methodology, many of the schools were given a College Readiness Index score as part of their evaluation. Frenship High ranked 15.8 College Readiness Index score.

Also in the U.S. News report, Frenship High earned a Bronze Award based on a mathematics proficiency score of 2.8 and an English proficiency score of 2.9.
