TVMS Students Qualify for State in CTPS Video Contest

Frenship ISD extends congratulations to Terra Vista Middle school students KateLynne Braziel, Maci Maddox, and Bradee Held for being named one of six state finalists in middle school division of the 2016 Celebrate Texas Public Schools video contest hosted by the Texas School Public Relations Association.

This year’s theme was “Public Education: A Texas Tradition.” Video entries were required to tell the story or history of the campus. Videos could include the story behind the campus name, the history or traditions of the campus, campus recognitions, famous attendees, and significant achievements. The video created by Braziel, Maddox, and Held was selected as the winner of the TSPRA Northwest Region contest and now advances to state.

Bandera ISD, Bandera Middle School

Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, Salyards Middle School

Frenship ISD, Terra Vista Middle School

Lewisville ISD, Lamar Middle School

Midway ISD, River Valley Intermediate

United ISD, George Washington Middle School

The state winners for the elementary, middle school, and high school divisions will be announced at the 2016 TSPRA Annual Conference held February 22-25 at the Horseshoe Bay Resort Hotel. The state winning campus in each video category will be awarded $1,250 from Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union.
