TVMS Student Council’s Volunteer Day

IMG_3658The Terra Vista Student Council had a day of service on Friday, December 11. The students started in the library of TVMS and created homeade Christmas cards. Once their holiday cards were complete they traveled from TVMS to Walmart and began shopping for families that need a little bit of help this holiday season.

The students divided into 12 groups and shopped for items on their kids wish list. Once everything was gathered, 14 students would be the recipients of the gifts this Christmas thanks to these giving students. After shopping the group headed to lunch at 50th Street Caboose.

The students thoroughly enjoyed their day of service and hope they spread a little holiday cheer to those who might have needed it most!
