Tiger Soccer Sweeps Midland Lee

Aryal Garcia, Brogan Ross, Carmen Cervantez and Shadi Haney each scored a goal, and the Tiger defense did not allow any shots on goal by Midland Lee the entire game during a 4-0 shutout Friday night.

Ross scored in the sixth minute and Cervantez was right behind her scoring in the ninth minute to give FHS a quick 2-0 lead. Haney and Garcia also scored in the first half for a 4-0 Tiger lead at half.

Frenship has 19 shots on goal compared to zero for the Lady Rebels.

The Tigers (13-2-1, 3-0 in district) have outscored their opponents 70-7 on the season. They play at Midland High on Tuesday beginning at 5:30 p.m

Trey Robillard and Adam Aboo-Hamidi scored two goals apiece and it proved to be enough offensive firepower for the Tigers in a 4-2 win versus Midland Lee.

The Tigers (16-1, 2-1 in district) have outscored their opponents 78-6 on the season.

They will look to keep playing strong Tuesday when they travel to Midland High. The match begins at 7:30 p.m.
