Arlington Bowie 71, Frenship 56
The 2015 basketball season for the Frenship Tigers came to an end Monday night in the Region I-6A Area playoffs at the hands of Arlington Bowie, 71-56, ending a great first season for the team in Class 6A as well as the first under head coach Paul Page.
The Tigers took a one point lead into the second quarter, but the Volunteers outscored Frenship by 12 in the second eight minutes and were able to keep the Tigers at arms length the rest of the way.
Senior Callen Stewart finished his stellar career with a game-high 17 points for Frenship. Fellow senior Collin Houghton also ended the night in double figures with 14. The Tigers end their season at 23-13.
