Terra Vista Provides a Helping Hand for Mission Lubbock Terra Vista Provides a Helping Hand for Mission Lubbock

image2.1Mr. Sharps 3rd period class at Terra Vista Middle School won the all campus competition of bringing the most cans and/or money during the food drive that was held a few weeks ago.

The students were rewarded with a field trip to Mission Lubbock to volunteer their time from 9:00-11:00 am on Monday, December 7th. The class spent two hours organizing and inventorying the clothes and shelves for the non-profit organization. Since this is such a busy time for the organization the students wanted to make sure the staff would be able to spend time helping those in need and not reorganizing the building.

image1The students did a tremendous job of working together to get their tasks accomplished quickly. They enjoyed representing the Terra Vista student body and the giving spirit of Frenship ISD students and staff.
