Crestview Elementary kindergarten students participated in Red Nose Day last Thursday, May 24. Teacher Sonya Wilson has donated in the past on behalf of her class and bought them the red noses, but this year she asked her team to join her for a larger impact.
According to rednoseday.org, the organization seeks to end child poverty – one red nose at a time. The red noses bring people together, breaking down barriers and reminds people of the power of laughter.
“We have 77 kinder students and we raised over $300!” said Mrs. Wilson. “And we’ve already made plans for next year to make an even bigger impact.”
Great job Crestview Kindergarten for giving to those in need and showing others the Frenship Way!
