Legacy Gets A “New” Principal…For A Day

DSC_0033Legacy Elementary is under the direction of a new leader…for a day that is. Principal Cheryl Booher had to share her office on Friday, November 13 with student Holden Phillips.

During Legacy’s fall festival event Holden emptied his piggie bank at the silent auction in hopes of winning the Principal for a Day item that was up for grabs. Well, Holden’s wish came true and he received the title of Principal for the Day.

His duties started early Friday morning by greeting students as they entered the building, quickly followed by handing out certificates at the six weeks Champions Club Celebration to his fellow classmates. Daily announcements and lunch with “his” staff were also on the agenda for the day.

Congratulations Mr. Phillips, we know the campus will do well under your guidance and leadership!
