ICYMI: Frenship Administrators Take on New Challenges

Over the summer, two Frenship ISD administrators were appointed to new roles.

Cindi Cobb

Cobb, a West Texas native from Lamesa, has worked with Frenship ISD for the past 11 years and in education for 17 years. When Cobb began her tenure at Frenship ISD, she said it felt like home.

“This is a district that cares about its staff and students and has high expectations,” she said. “I am honored to serve this community and to be a part of the Frenship family.”

In addition to Cobb’s new role, Frenship is proud to recognize the accomplishment of an elementary principal.

The Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA) is proud to announce Stacy Davis, principal at Crestview Elementary, will serve on the organization’s 2017-2018 Executive Committee as First Vice President.

Stacy Davis

Davis is starting her ninth year as Crestview principal and twelfth year at the campus overall. She and other Texas school administrators help set and lead the association’s strategic direction, identify and support goals and initiatives, and maintain a positive impact on legislators, policy makers, and other stakeholders to improve the quality of childhood, public education and the principalship.

“These talented education leaders work tirelessly to support and improve student achievement for public school children across the state. Serving Texas students and educators is at the heart of all their efforts,” Executive Director Harley Eckhart said.

FISD is proud of these administrators and looking forward to their future success.
