The Heritage Middle School band program held their fourth annual Picnic Concert on Thursday, May 14. Due to inclement weather, the concert was pulled inside to the HMS cafeteria instead of the originally scheduled lawn outside the campus, but the students and families enjoyed great entertainment by the amazing students.
The concert included performances from the Beginning Band, the Advanced Blue Band and Advanced Gold Band.
As a surprise to the students and audience, members of the International Charity and Costuming Organizations The Rebel Legion, the 501st Legion, and The Mandalorian Mercs came out and dressed up as Star Wars Characters. They made their appearance as the students played themes from the movie.
Special thanks to HMS band director David Biel as well as the entire staff for an entertaining experience.
