Greek Gods Battle it Out at Heritage Middle School

7th grade English students showcased their knowledge of Greek mythology.

Greek Gods and Goddesses filled the halls of Heritage Middle School on Thursday. Students dressed in costume to celebrate with a feast and games at the conclusion of an English unit on Greek mythology.

Instead of chariot racing or wrestling like the ancient Greeks, students participated in a family-feud style “game show” that tested their knowledge of Greek mythology.

Classmates cheered on the competing teams as they ate Greek-inspired snacks.

“This is a great way for students to show off their knowledge and let loose a little,” said English teacher Tate Albright.

“We really try to create some interactive aspects to our English classes.”
