Congratulations to Frenship High School senior Anna Williams who signed a national letter of intent to play softball at Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas.
Williams was a District 2-6A first-team selection during her junior season in 2016 finishing with a .284 batting average, a .394 on base percentage and .500 slugging percentage. She also hit six home runs and added seven doubles last season.
The Tigers finished the 2016 season with a 26-8 record and qualified for the Class 6A Region I Semifinals.
Williams will join a Butler program that finished 53-4 and won the 2016 NJCAA Division I National Championship under head coach Doug Chance. Her head coach at Frenship is Robby Dickenson.
