Frenship ISD Makes Miracles Happen

Children’s Miracle Network and 96.3 KLLL teamed up once again for the 17th Annual Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon to bDSC_0165enefit University Medical Center’s Children’s Hospital. Frenship students got involved in the cause through CMN’s Miracle Pennies Program. The program encourages students to donate their pennies, or any amount for that matter, to benefit kids in the region that are admitted to the hospital. The funds raised through CMN help to purchase life-saving equipment and aide the hospital in staying top-notch in children’s medicine.

This year FISD students participated by donating an amount to the program to dress up as their favorite movie character, blasting to the past and wearing their best 80’s get up, to events such as Put Your Teacher in “Jail”. FISD stepped up to the challenge, in true Tiger form, by raising $21,212.40 that was donated to the local hospital at this year’s radiothon. What an outstanding job our students and staff did is creating more miracles for local families. Great Job Tigers!
