Here’s a few reminders before the big day.
Frenship ISD is excited to welcome a record enrollment of 9,700 students returning to the district this Monday (Aug. 28). The record enrollment almost is an increase of 300 students from a year ago.
Before parents send their children off for their first day of school, here are a few reminders to help the day go smoothly:
- Start times:
- Elementary campuses: 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
- Middle school campuses: 8:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
- Frenship High School: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Reese Education Center: 8:10 a.m. to 3:40 p.m.
- Traffic:
- Vehicular and pedestrian traffic around all campuses will increase beginning Monday, so please take extra precaution when in these areas.
- All school zones around FISD campuses will be active beginning Monday as well.
- Breakfast and Lunch:
- Breakfast and lunch menus are available on the Frenship ISD website. Below are the different menus for the campuses:

To accommodate the growth, FISD will open the doors at the FHS Ninth Grade Center, a brand new freshman campus, for the 2017-18 school year. The FHS Ninth Grade Center is located at 407 N. Dowden Rd, right across the street from Frenship High School.
