It’s Homecoming 2016 for Frenship High School this Friday as the Tiger football team plays host to the Odessa Permian Panthers at Peoples Bank Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
Friday’s game marks the opening of District 2-6A play and the first time that Frenship and Permian have been district opponents. The Tigers are currently 2-2 while the Panthers are 4-0. Frenship and Permian have played twice in their history. FHS won 23-13 in 2012 and 55-17 in 2013.
The Homecoming festivities, including the crowing of the FHS Homecoming King and Queen, will take place prior to the game. This year’s Homecoming court includes:
Queen Nominees: Elnora Awatt, Matti Cox, Skylar Fannin, Daisy Martinez, Evelynne Morris
King Nominees: Bradley Brooks, Nick Harrison, Guy Morales, Jacob Piel, Asher Robinson
Junior Prince and Princess: Alex Mendoza and Mikela Aleman
Sophomore Prince and Princess: Raphael Njenga and Stephanie Piel
Freshman Prince and Princess: Caleb Eugenis and Liberty DeLaGarza
Tickets for Friday’s game are on sale at all FISD campuses beginning Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. until Friday at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $3.00 for students. All tickets purchased Friday night at the stadium gate are $10.00. District passes, senior citizens passes, and FISD employee passes will also be accepted.
