FRENSHIP HOMECOMING: Community Invited to Harvest Festival

The Frenship ISD community is invited to the 28th annual Harvest Festival in Wolfforth on October 13, which is day three of the Homecoming festivities. The schedule is full of activities for the whole family, including a color run, parade, vendor booths, concert in the park and more!

The Harvest Festival kicks off at 9:00 am with a parade from Peoples Bank Stadium down Main Street. Floats from various organizations, the FHS band, classic cars and more can be seen lining the streets. It’s a parade you won’t want to miss.

Following the parade, the Harvest Queen will be crowned west of City Hall at 10:30 am. Then there will be a Color Dash from City Hall for elementary-age students at 11:00 am. During and after these two events, the public can walk through various vendor and food booths until 2:00 pm.

At 7:00 pm that night there will be a Concert in the Park featuring Highwater Revival with music led by Jamie Berryhill, an FHS alumni. The location for this event is Patterson Park at 115 Park Road in Wolfforth.

“We are so excited about this year’s schedule of events,” said Terri Robinette, Director of Marketing and Business Development for the City of Wolfforth. “There is something for everyone! Whether you are a current student, parent, alumni or community member, you can expect a packed weekend with lots of tradition and Frenship fun.”
