An empowering speech delivered by none other than former Denver Broncos quarterback, and most recent Super Bowl 50 champion, Peyton Manning was received by close to 500 individuals at a very special ‘Evening with Peyton Manning” Tuesday night at the Overton Hotel and Conference Center. The Frenship Foundation for Leadership has been planning this once in a lifetime event for the past 18 months to raise money to give back to the students and teachers of FISD.
The evening was filled with great food, videos about the Frenship Foundation and all it has accomplished since its inception in 2003, then guests listened to Manning speak about the importance of leadership and how his role as the leader of a team has changed over his 22-year football career.
“This evening was one that the Frenship Foundation will not soon forget,” said Cindy Stephens, Executive Director of the Frenship Foundation. “The Foundation was overwhelmed by the generosity and support shown by all of our sponsors and those that purchased tickets. Thank you for believing in our mission and the Frenship School District.”
This event was the largest fundraiser for the Frenship Foundation to date and they are looking forward to gifting this money back to the District. The evening would not have been made possible with the generosity of the event’s sponsors. The Frenship Foundation Board of Directors would like to extend their deepest gratitude to:
