The Frenship boys golf team brought home first place hardware Saturday after winning the 2016 Big Country Bill Wallace Invitational in Abilene.
After shooting a day-one team total score of 328, the Tigers bounced back on day two with a score of 287. All five players shot under 80 on Saturday that helped the team shoot 615 for the tourney and overcome a five shot deficit after the first round to win.
Tripp Wallace led the Tigers with a two-day total of 148 (80-68), good enough for a fourth place individual finish.
