The Frenship Middle School National Junior Honor Society sponsored a “Pink Out Week” October 19-23 to benefit the Susan G Komen Foundation.
Students purchased pink ribbons that were hung in the cafeteria for remembrance or in honor of a loved one, pink bracelets, pink poms and fun pink pencils. Students also purchased Free Seating in the cafeteria to help the cause. Teachers at FMS got in on the action too by purchasing Jeans Passes. On Friday, the entire school participated in a Pink Out Day, where students and faculty alike dressed in pink.
All in all, the students of FMS raised more than $1000 this year for Susan G Komen.
