Congratulations to five Frenship High School varsity cheerleaders who received Academic All-State recognition from the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) on Monday.
The Academic All-State recipients from Frenship include Abby Wetsel, Katlyn Garcia, Daisy Martinez, Cara Flores and Emily Black.
Academic All-State is a recognition only presented to senior cheerleaders from across the state. This year, only 30 cheerleaders across the state earned this prestigious award.
Frenship and Lewisville High School led the state with five individual recipients.
