FHS Weekend Wrap Up: Tiger Students Heading to Nationals

FHS Student Headed to DECA Nationals

Brennan Wolfe is now a state champion and national qualifier after winning the Hospitality Operations competition last week at the DECA State Career Development Conference February 21-23 in Dallas. Wolfe will represent FHS at the International Conference April 27-30 in Orlando, Florida. Fellow classmates Case Dickey and Hayden Frick are national alternates after placing second in the Integrated Marketing Campaign competition.

FHS Pom Squad Dances to Fame

This past weekend, the varsity and JV pom squads competed in Frisco at the Crowdpleasers Dance Competition. FHS won a total of six routines and seven solos competitions. Congratulations on bringing home some amazing awards and recognition.

FHS Speech and Debate Students Continue to Shine

Congratulations to FHS senior Kelsi Smith and junior Alex Lopez for winning their respective events at the National Speech and Debate Association Tall Cotton District Contest held at Texas Tech. The contest served as a national qualifying event meaning Smith and Lopez will now compete at the national tournament in June.

Frenship FFA Students Win Major Scholarships

Four Frenship FFA students were awarded $10,000 scholarships during the San Antonio Livestock show. The winning students from Frenship include Kameryn Slayton, Nikki Keeton, Hana Hutcheson and Kooper Bowen. Keeton and Bowen have now won a total of $20,000 in scholarships this stock show season.
