Congratulations to the Frenship High School One-Act Play cast and crew for their first place finish at the District competition held at the FHS Performing Arts Center with their performance of All My Sons.
Along with FHS’s district championship, members of the cast received individual accolades for their performances as well: They include:
Best Actor: Jacob Salazar
Best Actress: Rachel Biggs
All Star Cast: Jacob Clemmons and Anna Howard
Honorable Mention All Star Cast: Jax Ebert and Megan Hobgood
“I could not be more proud of these kids,” said FHS director Jake Lierman. “They have been so hungry to learn, and have taken this extremely hard subject and told the story in a beautiful way. The progress that they have made this year is insane! I have no doubt where the Glory goes to and I am so blessed that God has chosen me to be a part of each of their lives. Thankful, I am extremely thankful.”
The FHS OAP now advances to the Bi-District on Thursday, again at the FHS PAC. FHS is scheduled to perform at 3:00 p.m.
This year’s show of All My Sons follows a family struggling with a father’s mistakes. The family searches for the truth not realizing how bad the truth would hurt. Joe Keller, played by Salazar, owned a manufacturing company that shipped out faulty airplane parts during World War II. Blaming his business partner he was released from jail. The show follows the family as the real truth begins to reveal itself.
