It was quite the week for the Frenship High School One-Act Play cast and crew last week. After claiming a first place finish at the District competition Tuesday with their performance of All My Sons, FHS claimed another first place at the Bi-District competition held Thursday at the FHS Performing Arts Center.
Also, members of the cast received individual accolades for their Bi-District performances as well: They include:
Best Actress: Anna Howard
All Star Cast: Jacob Clemmons and Rachel Biggs
Honorable Mention All Star Cast: Jacob Salazar
The FHS OAP now advances to the Area competition scheduled for April 7 in Midland.
This year’s show of All My Sons follows a family struggling with a father’s mistakes. The family searches for the truth not realizing how bad the truth would hurt. Joe Keller, played by Salazar, owned a manufacturing company that shipped out faulty airplane parts during World War II. Blaming his business partner he was released from jail. The show follows the family as the real truth begins to reveal itself.
