An array of two-dimensional and three-dimensional categories make up the competition including drawing, painting, clay sculpture, jewelry production, photography, and digital media.
The public is invited to attend from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. to view the artwork on display. The awards ceremony begins at 5:00. Admission to attend is free.
Regional VASE winners will advance to the state competition scheduled for April 22-23 in San Antonio.
Participation continues to grow at the Regional VASE competition as this year includes approximately 520 entries submitted by 400 students from different 18 high schools. Each participating student could enter no more than two pieces of work.
