After four years away the Frenship High School Cheer Squads returned to the National Cheer Association Summer Camp program ready to prepare for the 2016-2017 school year.
The FHS teams were up against some tough competition this year, vying for awards with 25 surrounding schools, but that did not prevent them from excelling at this year’s camp. All 15 FHS Varsity Squad members were nominated for All-American Cheerleader, The Frenship Varsity, JV and Freshman Squads each received a bid to the National Cheer Competition, and Frenship Senior Katlyn Garcia received the NCA Top All-American Award, the largest honor bestowed at cheer camp.

In addition to these great accomplishments three of the FHS seniors were asked to join the NCA Staff as instructors for camps next summer: Katlyn Garcia, Daisy Martinez and Abby Wetsel. The squads are off to a great start and we look forward to them leading the Tigers to V-I-C-T-O-R-Y next year.
