The Frenship boys’ soccer team did something Tuesday night that no district opponent had been able to do against Amarillo High for the past 54 district games: hand the Sandies a loss.
Behind two goals from Dakota Parrish and great defensive play in the net by Jeremy Buehner and Braxton Fleishhauer, the Tigers beat Amarillo 2-0 Tuesday at Peoples Bank Stadium. The win pushes FHS to 4-1 in district play and leaves the Tigers one point behind Amarillo in the standings.
Frenship will be back on the home pitch Friday afternoon, February 13, when they host Coronado at 5:00 p.m.
