Frenship High School girls’ powerlifting team had a successful showing at the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association Region I Meet Saturday at Fort Stockton.
Clair Currie earned a fifth place medal at the meet, Storey Muse improved her ranking from a year ago to a seventh place finish, and Hannah Tyson finished eight in her respective weight class.
“The girls did an outstanding job this year and competed very well,” said FHS Powerlifting Head Coach David Crume. “I’m very proud of their hard work and effort and how they represented Frenship High School during the season at all of the meets.”
Six Frenship athletes will compete at the boys’ regional powerlifting meet on Saturday, March 12 in Midland.
