The elementary school raised $5,927.19, which helps Children’s Miracle Network at Lubbock’s University Medical Center.
This year’s Miracle Pennies Drive recently came to a close, to which schools in Lubbock County competed to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network at Lubbock’s University Medical Center.
The drive consisted of a competition to see which school could raise the most money.
Split into large and small school categories, Crestview Elementary raised the most money in the large school category, raising $5,927.19, which is the most money a school has ever raised during the drive. The drive as a whole raised more than $35,500 for the local organization.
Twenty-three other schools in Lubbock County participated, including six moreW Frenship schools such as:
- Frenship High School
- Frenship Middle School
- Heritage Middle School
- Terra Vista Middle School
- Oak Ridge Elementary
- Westwind Elementary
Overall, Frenship collectively raised $15,083 out of the total raised.
