Seniors, it’s that time of year again. The Frenship Foundation for Leadership is now accepting applications for their annual FHS Character Scholarships. Since 2003, more than $470,000 has been distributed to FHS Seniors for continuing education. The purpose of The Foundation scholarships are to recognize students who promote leadership and exhibit outstanding character. Applications are due no later than Friday, March 13 by the end of the school day to the Foundation. A panel of individuals from the Scholarship Selection Committee will review each application to determine this year’s recipients.
Scholarship funds are raised by the Foundation through their annual Drive for Leaders Golf Tournament held at Shadow Hills Golf Course in Lubbock, Texas. This year will be the 12th annual tournament for the Foundation and will take place on Friday, May 1, 2015.
