VIDEO: First Day of School at Frenship ISD

The 2017-18 school year has officially begun!

It was an exciting day for Frenship ISD Tigers as the district kicked off the 2017-18 school year. A record enrollment of 9,700 students returned to the district after a fun-filled summer, ready to start the new year.

The morning began bright and early for Frenship High School seniors as they participated in the first Senior Sunrise, a student council-led event where seniors watched the sunrise together and set goals for themselves for the new school year. The goal of the event was to set a positive tone for the their last year of high school.

The FHS Ninth Grade Center also opened its doors for the first time as the freshman class began their journey as high school students at Frenship ISD. The new campus was part of the 2014 bond election to help Frenship’s increasing growth across the district.
