Provided by Texas Department of Transportation – Beginning Monday, March 28, motorists traveling US 62/82 through Wolfforth, will see major traffic changes through the Marsha Sharp Freeway (MSF) Phase 5C project limits.
TxDOT is scheduled to close both east- and westbound MSF mainlanes to traffic and divert drivers onto the frontage roads/new permanent exit ramps. This traffic change will allow crews to begin construction on the header banks, walls and bridge for the new overpass.
The traffic switch is anticipated to take two days to complete.
Temporary traffic signals will be placed at Loop193 for each frontage road intersection. After passing through the signalized intersection, drivers will be able to get back onto the mainlanes via the newly constructed on-ramps.
This is a long-term traffic setup and motorists should anticipate traffic to remain in this configuration until the main lanes reopen at a later date.
