Tiger Soccer Sweeps Odessa Permian

Chloe Woodard scored the first of her two goals in the game’s first minute, and the Tigers tabbed their sixth shutout in seven district games in cruising to a 4-0 win versus Permian.

FHS busted open a 1-0 halftime lead with three goals in the second half. Michaela Graf, a recent signee with Wayland Baptist University, scored seven minutes after the break to extend the lead to 2-0. Woodard and Natalie Jones added insurance goals late in the contest.

In seven district games, Frenship (16-3-0, 7-0 in district) has outscored their opponents 33-1. The Tigers play at Midland High on Tuesday beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Caleb Rogers was the offensive firepower for the Tigers as he scored both goals to lead Frenship past Permian 2-0.

Magnus McSween and Nathaniel Schubert pitched in with an assist apiece, and Braxton Fleischhauer collected eight saves.

The Tigers (7-5-7, 1-2-4) will look to build on the recent momentum Tuesday when they travel to Midland High. The match begins at 7:30 p.m.
