The Frenship girls golf team will make a repeat appearance at the regional golf tournament this year after finishing second in the District 2-6A golf tournament that wrapped up last week. The Tigers shot a two-day total of 723 to capture second place and advance.
Individually, Frenship had three of the top five finishers. Madison Caballero’s two-day total score of 171 tied her for second place, Ashleigh James followed with a fourth place score of 175, and Bridget Coonrod’s 179 was good for fifth place.
The Tigers will now compete in the Region I-6A tournament on April 15-16 at the Rolling Hills Country Club in Arlington.
