“I am thankful for my family because they care about me, and God because he created me and my family. I also am thankful for the shelter I have because some people don’t have a home. I’ve learned that you are thankful every day because some people don’t have what you have.”
“I celebrate Thanksgiving by gathering around my family and always having a dance party. I also play a little bit of football, and I especially love watching the parade! I’m thankful for my family that loves me. I’m thankful for everything I have.”
“One thing I have learned about Thanksgiving is that it brings families together. On Thanksgiving day when we all arrive at my grandparents’ house, we all sit at the table, say our thanks, make our plates and dig in! As everyone leaves, we all say goodbye and ‘Happy Thanksgiving!'”
“I love Thanksgiving because it’s a time we can give thanks to other people. It’s fun, too! I’m thankful for so much like a bed to sleep in at night, food to eat when I’m hungry, and my dad and me, too.”

I love Thanksgiving because other people don’t have them. I love Thanksgiving because it brings families together and there is always good food I get to help make.”
“I love Thanksgiving! It is a time to cherish with family. You can have fun and give thanks to God and Jesus about the things you have. Cherish the moments and memories, and take photos of the things that are important to you.”
“The most important part of Thanksgiving is that we are thankful. I am thankful for the delicious food God brings to us. I’m thankful that my mom was able to have my baby sister, and I’m especially thankful for the world we walk on today.”
“I am thankful that I have the basic needs like food, water and shelter. I am also thankful for our military because they protect our country, and our teachers who help us get a good education and help us learn. I think we should all be thankful for what we have.”
“Before we eat, we go around the table and say what we are thankful for. We eat amazing mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and green bean casserole. I have learned that Thanksgiving is all about giving thanks.”
