“The Health Science Program at FHS is taught by four Registered Nurses and an LVN with many combined years of experience,” Rose said. “We all have the same desire to help mold our students into compassionate, hardworking individuals. Because of this, we are all able to have a hand in making a difference not only in our industry, but in the lives of the students in our program. I believe that because of this, our program is one of the best!”
The FISD CTE (Career Technical Education) department prepares successful college and career-bound students for high-skill, high-wage, and high-demand jobs through cultivating personal passion and active learning. CTE training is provided through a variety of instructional settings and levels including middle school career exploration courses, secondary programs, post-secondary certification, and customized training for employees in the workplace.
