Frenship’s stellar run in 2017 ended in the Class 6A area playoffs with a 70-58 loss to state-ranked North Crowley Friday night in Abilene.
The Tigers fell into an early deficit in the first half that proved to be too much to recover. A second half push saw FHS outscore the Panthers 37-31, but NCHS was able to hang on for the victory.
Bradley Brookes led the Tigers in scoring with 21 points and Jack Kirkpatrick added 10.
Frenship’s finishes the season at 21-11.
