Frenship High School Seniors Brendan Boggs, Zack Costanzo and Logan Peace were sworn in Wednesday (March 29).
As multiple Frenship High School students and teachers flooded the library Wednesday (March 29), FHS seniors were sworn into the United States Marine Corps and will begin their journey as a marine upon graduation.
The seniors included:
- Brendan Boggs
- Zack Costanzo
- Logan Peace
FHS Principal Greg Hernandez said the ceremony was a special occasion.
“These men are dedicating themselves and could be dedicating their entire lives to the military,” he said. “It’s an honor to serve. I’ve been there before and I find it an honor to fight for the freedoms we have. I’m proud of these young men.”
U.S. Marine Corps Lieutenants, a Sergeant and Staff Sergeant were in attendance to swear in the young men.
Staff Sergeant Christopher Lucas said it was a big day for Boggs, Costanzo and Peace.
“These men came out here, and it’s a big day for them,” he said. “I’m really proud of these guys to take care of our way of life and how we do things. I’m very proud of them for taking this step.”
