Congratulations to four Frenship High School athletes who signed national letters of intent with their respective chosen universities on Wednesday morning in the FHS library. Below are the athletes who signed on Wednesday:
Blaire Barker (basketball) – University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma: a three-year varsity letter winner, a 2015 District 2-6A 1st Team All-District selection, an Academic All-State selection by the Texas Girls Coaches Association, and an Academic All-State selection by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches
Blaine Benitez (track/cross country) – Lincoln Memorial University: a four-year varsity letterman in cross country and track, a two-time regional qualifier in cross country, and a 2014 District 2-6A All District selection in cross country
Sidnee Newman (volleyball) – Drury University: no statistics made available
Matt Spicer (football) – Wayland Baptist University: a two-year varsity letterman and a 2014 District 2-6A All-District 2nd Team offensive lineman who graded out at over ninety percent for the season
