FISD Kicks Off Spring Semester with School Board Appreciation Month

Texas Governor Greg Abbott and the Texas Association of School Boards proclaim January as Texas School Board Recognition Month to help highlight the invaluable contribution of those who serve for the betterment of our local schools.

January is School Board Recognition Month and Frenship ISD will join other districts across the state to thank these local leaders for their dedication and willingness to serve as advocates for our children and public schools. As elected officials, they are the voice of their communities, serving first and foremost in the best interest of Texas schoolchildren.

Frenship is honored to thank our FISD board members who voluntarily tackle the enormous job of governing our local school district:

The theme this year is “All-Star Team.” During the monthly board meeting on Monday (Jan. 16), Frenship ISD will recognize our board members for their dedicated work to the district.
