Five Frenship High School Theatre students have advanced to the 2016 State UIL Theatrical Design Contest. Each year students receive a new prompt outlining the competition details and this year’s was an update of William Shakespeare’s “Macbeth”. The play originally set in Scotland during the Middle Ages had to be updated into a different time and/or a different place.
Students could compete in either four individual competitions or one group entry representing the school. The State Advancing students will travel to Austin in May for their final competition.
