Frenship High School softball player K’Leigh Arredondo is contining her stellar career next year at Odessa College. Arredondo signed her national letter of intent on Tuesday in the Frenship High School library.
Arredondo is a four-year starter and soon to be four-year letter winner for the Frenship softball program. She is a three-time first team all-district selection and has been named the District Most Valuable Player twice. She is also a two-time all-state selection by the Texas Girls Coaches Association.
Arredondo, the Tiger’s mainstay at second base, is batting .473 with an on base percentage of .553 in 2015. She has eight doubles and 21 runs batted in for a Frenship team that enters the Class 6A playoffs with a record of 21-5.
Arredondo joins an Odessa program that is currently 34-16 under head coach Jim Prickett.
